Interior Decorating Book
Home decorating to experience life; the laughter, the tears, and emotions capture life to the fullest. A home is a place to be creative, have fun, and play, no matter your age. It’s important to stimulate the mind, instill a place to be productive, and get things done. An area that says to pull up your feet, snuggle in and relax the day away. Mindfulness to simplify, display, and store only those items that serve a need and preserve your happiest memories. You ensure your stuff doesn’t control your finances and space.
In particular, do you struggle with the vision, creating a plan, or executing it? Or having the confidence and encouragement to step out on faith and expand your comfort zone when designing or decorating?
We will help you define your style, create a vision, develop a workable plan, and execute it. Unfortunately, the ability to see the final result is not crystal clear for most people, making it hard to create a plan and implement it.
Our Purpose for the Interior Decorating Book
Most importantly, our purpose for writing this step-by-step interior decorating guide is more than creating the home of your dreams. It’s about diving deep to connect your heart to your home. Absorb the possibilities. No longer will you need to spend money on vacation to reset, recharge, and relish life. So let’s learn how to design your Sweet Retreat.
By sharing their decorating fails and triumphs, Melinda and Audrey inspire you to create a home that helps you discover joy, heal you from life’s disappointments and support you in becoming your best self.

More Information about our Interior Decorating Book
First, we are so glad you decided to give this interior decorating book a try! It means you are looking for a way to connect your heart to your home. It means you have discovered a spark within you and realize there is so much more to “home” life than just a place to eat, shower, and sleep. You are learning or have recognized that “home” in its purest form is what shapes us into who we are. Home is where seeds of passions, goals, and dreams are planted and grow in their most effective form. It’s where we nurture those seeds and witness our dreams and goals evolve and change as we develop and change with them. But, just as importantly, home is also the place we hunker down when some dreams and goals don’t pan out the way we had hoped they would or are lost altogether.
When we discover that our homes are where we celebrate our high points and the areas where we grieve our low moments, we realize that these structures are sacred and deserve our best efforts to sanctify them.
This task might seem overwhelming, but that’s where we come in with this book! We have compiled a room-by-room interior decorating guide (not rules) to help you tap into the ability to create a lovely, sacred and functional home! We hope to equip you with concrete, attainable instruction and, most importantly, a better concept of home. So join us and connect your heart to your home.
